Exceptional On-Site Care
Arnold Creek Cat Retreat is located in a beautiful, wooded setting overlooking Arnold Creek in SW Portland, Oregon. Owner, Shirley Catterall lives on site and is close-at-hand to provide the high level of trained care and pampering her guests have become accustomed to. Since the doors first opened at the Cat Retreat in 2004, Shirley has developed a loyal following of clients and veterinarians who appreciate her experience as a trained veterinary technician, as well as her caring demeanor. All of this makes it much easier for pet owners to relax knowing they’ve left their loved ones in capable and caring hands.
All guests get to be out of their rooms at least two or three times a day to play and explore the main area. Only the occupant(s) of one room at a time come out so your cat will never be in contact with cats from another household. All guests are given fresh water twice daily and meals per their owner’s requests. Litter boxes are cleaned two or three times a day. We offer three types of litter: clay, pine and wheat.
We brush or comb guests who like this kind of attention and sit with and pet those who prefer that. We treat all of our guests as the individuals that they are and try to keep everyone happy.
